Buyer of Indirect Materials is responsible for supporting Driscoll's internal customers by providing effective solutions to a wide array products and services including, but not limited to supplies, services, computers, networking systems, facilities equipment, furnishing, travel, and more utilizing the existing systems.Lead RFP, RFI, RFQ processes / Define and manage ASL (Approved Supplier List) Source material to most competitive suppliers within the identified supplier universe Contract Negotiation and Management**Responsibilities**:Procurement activities include assisting with project scope documents, selecting and pre-qualifying eligible bidders, creating a RFP package, evaluating proposals, negotiating costs, terms and conditions, contract administration, and point of contact for resolving commercial issues (changes / disputes).
Work with regional and global Purchasing teams to integrate commodity management and implement sourcing strategies.
Ensures compliance to all the various purchasing policies and procedures.The sr. buyer will align Driscoll's requirements with the best suppliers, promoting continuous improvement in supplier performance and obtaining the right price for the right product or service.
