The plant manager position directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for safety, production, maintenance, quality, shipping, service and other production-related activities.

**Important note**: This position require experience working in Wood companies,

Construction or related field.
- Direct and manage plant operations for safety, production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving.
- Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental leads to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.
- Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, and manpower
- Manages capital asset maintenance.
- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.
- Develop and maintain plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
- Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisor and departments supervisors.

Experiência y requisitos

1. Wood companies, construction or related field (must)

2. Minimum 5+ year of progressively responsible operations leadership-Plant Manager, experience (preferred)

3. Experience in regulated industry (QA certifications preferred)

4. Ability to think strategically, viewing the business from a general and high-level management standpoint

5. Ability to drive results in a cross-functional and matrix organization

6. Ability to identify and develop the talent in the group

7. Ability to exercise independent judgment on immediate situations with cost, policy and reputation ramifications

8. Ability to motivate and handle conflict

9. Strong communicator and team player

**10. Bilingual English
- Spanish**

**Supervisory Responsibility**:
This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
