**JOB PURPOSE**:
**The CS Coordinator has the responsibility for managing Safety, Health & Environment improvement activities to achieve excellence at project site level. She/He works with CS Manager and Project Management team to develop the local Project Specific Safety Plan and improvement plans to achieve sustainable SHE excellence by reducing injuries, illnesses, and environmental impact as measured in the core KPIs. Role has expectations of flexible rotating hours of implementation.**:
**WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE**:
- **Develop/update/maintain the Project Specific Safety Plan to ensure that all activities and companies on the project are compliant with Unilever and local Safety requirements.**:
- **Deploy the global/cluster SHE strategy, policy and standards in the site to achieve excellent sustainable results.**:
- **Manage the teams responsible to deliver Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment results.**:
- **Drive safety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls.**:
- **Develop a thorough understanding of the Unilever Safety Behavior Observation (SBO) Program and support deployment in the site.**:
- **Develop a thorough understanding of the Unilever SHE-400 standards series related to Construction Safety, contractor management and high-risk activities supervision.**:
- **Influence senior management and drive safety and environmental leadership through PSSP Governance.**:
- **Monitor site legal compliance and ensure the site meets all local/national regulatory requirements and Unilever standards, provide advice on national SHE legislation requirements & implement relevant procedures and policies.**:
- **Work closely with Occupational Health personnel to identify and mitigate risks which may lead to occupational ill health.**:
- **Assist the CS Manager and Site Leader to develop and lead the internal crisis committees and safety committee, support during serious incident investigation and analysis.**:
- **Advise LT in all accident/incident investigations.**:
- **Conduct trend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behavior observations and deep compliance audits.**:
- **Develop and deploy internal SHE audits and inspection systems, participate in audits of other Unilever organizations as required.**:
- **Determine training needs and assist in delivery of training programs. You're a strategy guru: Manage the SHE teams responsible to deliver Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment results. You're a changemaker: Influence senior management and drive safety and environmental leadership through PSSP Governance.**
**EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS**:
- **Bachelor's degree in safety & occupational health management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.**:
- **A minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety, Health and Environmental field applied to construction projects. Factory/manufacturing experience is a plus.**:
- **English level: intermediate at least, capable of sustaining business conversations.
