Ellucian is seeking a Degree Works Scribe to work with our team of service professionals who take pride in helping campuses meet their academic advisement, student success, and operational planning needs.In this role, the Degree Works Scribe reviews academic catalogs, evaluates campus degree and program requirements, and inputs them into Degree Works using the software's proprietary language. The Scribe is responsible for preparing a quality baseline deliverable for the client that serves as the foundation for subsequent revisions to the degrees, majors, minors, programs, and concentrations. The position requires working with clients to determine the appropriate rules for academic progress and completion. The individual must be highly organized and detail oriented.Assignments must be completed in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner in collaboration with a team of project managers, consultants, product support specialists, and customer managers. The position requires an overall understanding of the Degree Works product and implementation process. The Scribe is responsible for tracking important client information and providing it to others as required. This position requires the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and working creatively to meet client requirements. The Degree Works Scribe works remotely from home; travel is occasionally required in this position but is not routine.**Where you will make an impact**Understand fully the Scribe language and functionality within Degree Works and how those components impact output and degree audit results.Review and analyze degree, major, minor, program, and concentration information to determine how to transcribe it into the Degree Works language using the Scribe tools.Input course and program requirements using the Degree Works tools, completing such work in a timely manner.Track formal questions and answers regarding requirements, business process, and desired outcomes.Respond promptly to questions and requests.
