We ensure readiness for our operational team to smoothly take over in a business as usual mode. We collaborate with pre-sales, sales and functional teams to ensure successful delivery of payroll projects to our enterprise clients.
Job PurposeAs an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant, you will be key in ensuring all client configuration requirements are correct. You will have ownership for the technical and functional implementation of client projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional work-streams to provide support and guidance for data migrations and operational activities.
ResponsibilitiesPartnering with our clients to understand their current payroll requirements to propose effective Alight solutionsUnderstanding client business issues and constraints and recommend the best solutionsLeading the Solution design, review and alignment of deliverables to ensure we deliver on-time and in-scopeProviding subject matter expertise for all SAP payroll related technical and functional issues in the countryPartnering with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful deliveryCapture and document client requirements as appropriate and create the relevant work packages according the agreed signed of solutionsEnsure that lessons learned activities from a functional and technical point of view are completedProvide deliverables and project objectives to functional and technical resources assigned to the projectDocument any deviations from alight standards and report them to the project teamProvide subject matter expertise to all technical and functional resources assigned in the projectAct as the primary escalation point within the project for all project issues related to functional implementationEnsure proficiency and quality in the configuration, use and deployment of OM/PA/PY/TM modules in the project currently assigned withImplementation Standards and Thought LeadershipMentoring project resourcesSupport the Sales and Pre-Sales teams where neededWorking with payroll implementation team on the build of the systemRequirementsDemonstrate exceptional SAP Payroll Functional and Technical implementation and configuration experienceHave extensive experience leading a project team delivering SAP Payroll implementations for country specific clientsHave an exceptional understanding of country specific Payroll legislation and practicesHave experience in a consulting role within a payroll technology environmentDemonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and have an eye for detailBe highly organized and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environmentBe a natural communicator and have the ability to build successful relationships with clients and teamsHave excellent written and verbal skills in EnglishBenefits We offer programs and plans for a healthy mind, body, wallet and life because it's important our benefits care for the whole person.
