We are looking to hire a General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Monterrey, NL:General ledger accountants manage and reconcile the financial accounts of a company. They review financial data, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, they offer assistance to other departments within the accounting and finance areas.Responsibilities:Responsible for GL & FA activitiesCreate, calculate, and post journal entriesGL and FA accounts reconciliationInter-company account balancingGL & FA accounts analysisFA depreciation calculationsCIP reconciliationFA capitalization processMonth-end closings and trial balance submissions to headquartersPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packagesGL and FA additional projects as requiredMust be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encourage excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.Your profile as a General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant:Accounting or Finance Degree2-4 years of GL and FA experience80-90% bilingual in English/SpanishStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailA proactive approach with a dedication to teamworkOutstanding customer service and continuous improvement are essential.Very good computer skills using MS Office.
