**About the Job**
- Research client industries through reputable sources, studies, and online articles
- Review and edit existing content for spelling, grammar, tone, and accuracy
- Collaborate with web designers to develop aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites
- Work alongside SEO specialists to develop engaging and SEO-friendly content
- Interview and speak to clients about their business and industry
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or another related field
- 1 - 3 years of experience in content writing or a related position
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent understanding of spelling and grammar rules
- Basic understanding of SEO guidelines
- Capable of following a style guide to ensure consistency
- Capable of communicating clearly through written and oral forms
- Work well in a creative, collaborative team and independently
- Able to meet strict deadlines set by clients and other team members
- Portfolio showcasing related work

**Bonus points if you check off any of the following**:

- Experience with video editing, graphic design, and other visual elements
- Experience with WordPress or another CMS
- Understanding of social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more
- Basic knowledge of HTML and/or CSS
- Experience with Asana, HubSpot, Cloudways, SocialPilot, or LocalViking
