Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Provides basic technical support on Continuous Improvement Strategy.
collaborate with Global CI to develop strategic site initiatives related to Celestica Operating System (COS) in all its core processes, owner of COS 5s Pillar and responsible for coaching area owners and rest of the employees on 5s methodology, responsible of Visual Management Implementation and sustainment within the site, conversation & Overhead savings projects execution that will support site's goal, provide Lean Tools training to all levels within the site, lead and facilitate Kaizen and Value Stream plans and kaizen newspaper action items, continuous identification of wastes at supply chain and execute improvements projects to eliminate them.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:
- Engineering Foundation Competencies
- 3-4 years of experience in Continuous Improvement.
- Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing tools and concepts (VSM, 5S, Std Work, TPM, Kanban, Kaizen, etc.)
- Six Sigma certification (green, black belt) Desired
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control methods and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
- Effective teamwork and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal, and good presentation, database management and computer skills..
- Strong understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools and ability to deploy them appropriately
- Excellent customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills
- Proficiency using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Power BI
- Ability to interact/ communicate effectively with upper levels of management
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Knowledge of industry and quality standards.
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers
- **Physical Demands**:
- Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.)
are frequently required.
**Typical Experience**:
Zero to two years' relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
