Nelson Global ProductsContinuous Improvement Coordinator**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Leads facilitation of site/functional implementation of Standard Process Control focused on 5Ms (Manpower, Machine, Method, Material, Measurement) with Operating System Certification as the centerpiece for the facility.- Works with site or functional leadership to develop overall A3 implementation plans, including current and future Value Streams, standard work, sustained stability to achieve higher levels of Operating Certification.- Drives self-directed work teams and works with Value Stream owners to achieve departmental KPI/TTI goals. Measures, tracks and communicates OE performance to plant leadership to identify plans for improvement.- Assists management in selecting and prioritization of projects, leaders and champions that align with business/functional goals and strategies. Supports and/or Leads Black Belt improvement projects of significant, quantifiable size and scope.- Coaches, mentors, and trains site/functional members on continuous improvement techniques.- Drives self-directed work teams, works with Value Stream owners to achieve departmental KPI/TTI goals. Measures, tracks, and communicates OE performance to plant leadership to identify plans for improvement.- Collaborates with management in selecting and prioritization of projects, leaders, and champions that align with business/functional goals and strategies.- Desirable technical knowledge of tube processing, manufacturing, and/or automotive industry.- VCP projects lead, savings & execution throughout the plant is required.**REQUIREMENTS**:Bachelor Degree (Mechanical Engineering or related).3 years of experience on Manufacturing.Experience on project management.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, as demonstrated through teaching, facilitation of kaizen, coaching, and mentoring of projects.Experience with team leadership and teamwork.Black belt desirable.Conversational English.
