Works with management, customers, suppliers, and others to identify and facilitate key projects that will improve quality, reduce costs, improve cycle time, and provide the optimum benefits to customers and the business through waste reduction. Trains production teams in lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, Takt Time Analysis, and Kaizen. Manages project activities including communication, project timeline, meeting facilitation, data gathering, data processing utilizing lean tools, and solution implementation and follow up.**Duties**:Hands on execution of Lean transformation projects.Delivers Problem Solving and Lean Manufacturing training.Facilitate Kaizen events. Participates in and coordinates the development of event Charters and scheduling of the events. Works with departmental management to assure appropriate participation and support.Plans, re-designs and organizes manufacturing facilities and production cells.Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.Technical expert in Lean tools and principles including set-up reduction, standardized work, value stream mapping, A3 thinking.Perform cost/benefit analyses.Leads assigned process improvement events using Continuous Improvement methodsSeeks and evaluates process improvement and Lean Enterprise information, materials, and methods to match specific organizational needs as outlined by management and adapts them to use in the execution of process improvement events.**Education Degree**:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Other**Required Experience**:Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Mfg. EE, Engineering discipline, Process, ME).Requires 5-7 years relevant experience on lean manufacturing and/or improvement projectsComprehensive knowledge of Lean Enterprise principles and methods, team development and team leadership techniques, and project management methods.Lean certification from a recognized independent technical body.Operates under the direction of a CI Manager.
