About the roleSupport the achievement of global quality and operating cost reduction (GQO) goals, objectives and deliverables with specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound (SMART) projects in accordance with site Hoshin Kanri plans.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute kaizen events and actions related to Cost reduction and CPS (Convatec Performance System) programs and strategies, through tiered management systems (manufacturing and non-manufacturing areas).Perform or assist in site teams trained in problem solving methodology, through execution and/or training to solve real world problems.Execute problem solving activities to close KPI non-compliance gaps, quality standards and plant objectives.Execute stabilization, improvement and transformation projects, using continuous improvement tools and techniques (VSMs, Continuous Flow, Standard Work, 5S, SMED, Error Proofing, TPM, Kanban Pull System and Process Control).Conduct GEMBA walks with focus on Lean waste and perform continuous improvement assessments to measure baseline performance and lead improvement execution. Assist in the development of gap analyses to benchmark and/or exceed industry standards and implement True North Objectives.Support in achieving specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound (SMART) cost reduction targets, site Hoshin Kanri strategy and project management to meet Reynosa KPIs and GQO objectives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer or related careers.Experience working within Medical Devices.Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position, working with Lean Continuous Improvement tools, Lean analytical tools/techniques, and Cost Reduction Project from the Definition Phase to the Control Phase of the DMAIC process.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (i.E.
