SUMMARY OF POSITION: The CI Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility to drive improved operational performance. This position works to achieve a sustainable continuous improvement culture at the branch, and with key leaders within the facility and cross-functional partners to deliver Lean and VAVE savings. This position must speak English and provide a resume in English. MAJOR ACTIONS AND SUPPORT ACTIONS Manage total facility CI initiatives and progress to completion. Develop and maintain annual Operational Excellence plan with a focus on lean tools that drive labor efficiencies and OEE improvements. Maintain a culture of Operational Excellence. Teach, coach and mentor site employees on lean and problem-solving tools. Facilitate and lead structured process improvement projects that reduce rework and scrap. Adapt to financial gaps by adjusting timing of improvement plans, creating additional improvements, and overall supporting meeting the branch financial plan. Use metrics to provide support to process owners in linking projects to strategic operational objectives. Adhere to internal and external Business Processes and Certifications synonymous with a large US Incorporation operating within the Automotive Industry and be a committed role model for our Company's Beliefs and Behaviors.
