Continuous Improvement Manager (Temporary)

**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**- POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead continuous improvement project teams on strategic projects within plant operations.
Analyze current manufacturing processes and business practices and develop operational improvements as well as implement changes to workflows, structures, and teams to ensure improvements meet business' strategic needs.
Develop process improvement strategies using Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management, VSM, 5'S, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Process Maps, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
Provide technical expertise to company on statistics, Six Sigma methodology, and latest lean practices.
Directs and facilitates the ongoing lean improvement process through the use of techniques such as Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes.
Ensure that appropriate safety and ergonomic processes and methods are being utilized.
Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimization.
Develop and maintain annual value stream mapping efforts, CI plans, and calendars.
Assure improvements maintain compliance to company procedures, policies, and most current revision of ISO 9001 standard.
