.As we create a colorful, capable and cleaner world through chemistry, we invite you to join our team to harness the power of chemistry to shape markets, redefine industries and improve lives for billions of people around the world.Chemours is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our growing Procurement team!This position is concerned with administrative functions relating to the interpretation of customer contractual requirements and the dissemination of pertinent information necessary to process the work to meet contractual obligations. The position also has responsibility to inform the customer regarding contract status and to ensure that billings are promptly issued. The position is responsible to ensure a smooth flow of contractually required information is made to all internal disciplines and to the customer. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential for this position.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:- Administer and coordinate assigned activities related to all aspects of contracts between company and supplier.- Ensure that contract provisions are implemented efficiently and effectively, including receipt of service for payment.- Participate in contract negotiations, renewals, and modifications with the buyer.- Assist in the process of contractor selection and in the development of scopes of work, job estimates, and shutdown schedules.- Ensures supplier compliance to all aspects of contract terms, including safety, quality, delivery, pricing. Monitors company performance relative to contractual obligations.- Works closely with internal stakeholders in the research, procurement, and finance organizations to achieve cross-functional business objectives- Responsible for ensuring supplier contracts meet compliance and business requirements, minimizes risk to the company and supports Research and Development Sourcing & Procurement objectives- Contract Execution and Management - to prepare and negotiate contracts for execution with providers involving legal counsel and senior management as needed- Follow standard process for contract filing in procurement system in a timely basis- Stakeholder Support - to provide appropriate guidance around budgetary and contractual impacts of decisions/actions as part of a cross-functional team- Appropriately escalate issues and concerns to procurement management and other functional areas such as legal, privacy, compliance, etc
