ICON people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.The role of the **Contract Associate** is to support ICON's global contracting process through the coordination and collation of information on new and ongoing projects including but not limited to direct to contract, Consultancy and single service agreements and the provision of this information to key decision-makers in the contracting process.We coordinate, develop, and execute all client/sponsor contracts and change orders for newly awarded and on-going projects at ICON Clinical Research, in line with ICON Policies and procedures, and to support the approval and execution of those agreements by the authorized individuals.**Role responsibilities include**:- Coordinate and develop contracts and change orders for newly awarded and on-going, single service, direct to contract and consulting projects at ICON- Work simultaneously on numerous contracts and/or change orders- Interact with ICON legal, the Sales Team, and their respective Contracts Manager, as necessary, to determine appropriate terms and conditions to be included in the contracts and change orders- Develop an understanding of ICON Costing Tools and how budgets are built, client budget grids and any tools and templates developed within the Client Contract Services Group- Solicit input and review contracts and change orders from the relevant operational departments- Develop and maintain client/project files and tracking tools**Experience & Knowledge Requirements**:- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant administrative duties. Finance, contracts/budgets or negotiations preferred.- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office package- Demonstrate ability to work independently- Demonstrate the ability to be highly motivated and be a strong team player working well in a strong team environment- Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and function in a high paced, dynamic environment.- Demonstrate the ability to follow directions (often complex) well- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and/or tight timelines- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organization skills**Benefits of Working in ICON**:Our success depends on the knowledge, capabilities and quality of our people
