.Siemens Energy has hundreds of service agreement contracts with customers throughout North, Central, and South America. These agreements are essential to ensuring that power plant equipment is kept in the best working order to keep the lights on. In this role, you will be directly supporting the project managers that implement these agreements. On any given day, you will be assisting these PM's and their management to analyze these agreements and help them to come to the best solutions for both Siemens Energy and our customers. In addition, you will be analyzing these agreements for current and future risk and contribute to how to mitigate these risks. Siemens Energy is a data-driven company, and we want to predict and prevent issues as best as possible before they occur. This is where the rubber meets the road!How You'll Make an ImpactSupport the implementation of Power and Gas Long Term Service Programs. Analyze customer and supplier terms and conditions and suggest innovative ways to deal with contract requirements, negotiations, rights, obligations, and risk exposures to managers and engineers responsible for the contracts.Write, review, analyze, modify, and negotiate contractual documents to achieve acceptable risk levels.Write, review, analyze, modify, and negotiate claims, settlement agreements, changes to existing agreements for service and equipment, and other contractual terms and conditions.Summarize and prepare risk summaries for review and approval by management.What You BringBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced education or Degree in technical or business field is a plus.5 - 10 years of related business experience.Demonstrated extensive experience drafting and negotiating contractual documents, and implementing contracts.Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze contracts to identify and evaluate risks relative to different scopes of work.Strong negotiation skills; detail-oriented; able to handle multiple projects at the same time in English and Spanish.Strong customer orientation.Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.Able to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of associates as well as senior executives.Drive and resourcefulness to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and gather team consensus to move forward.Excellent communication, writing, and meeting facilitation skills in English and Spanish.Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated at 10%.Strong understanding of diversity and intercultural differences (experience of operating in diverse and international environments).Experience with commercial contracts is desired.About the TeamIn our Business Unit Generation, we offer a broad portfolio of cutting-edge technologies, services, and solutions for centralized and decentralized energy production
