This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our century-long tradition of excellence and be part of our continued success story.**Responsibilities**: Carrier Procurement and Appointments:- Identify and procure carriers to meet business needs, ensuring appointments are made efficiently to align with shipment schedules.Procure Costs for ALS Contract Transportation Opportunities:- Source and negotiate competitive rates from carriers for all ALS Contract Transportation opportunities to ensure optimal profitability.Follow the Contract Transportation Procurement Process:- Adhere to manage the contract transportation procurement process, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.Provide Best Cost / Service Options for Opportunities:- Analyze and present the most effective cost and service options for all transportation opportunities, balancing service levels with cost efficiency.Stratify and Build Relationships with Carriers- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with carriers to ensure reliable service and foster long-term partnerships to meet business goals.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred- 2-5 years of experience in Carrier Sales- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Knowledge of transportation industry regulations and standards.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
