This is a remote, full-time, 1099 position supporting a distribution company in the marine dock supplies industry based in Tampa, Florida, USA. The role is ideal for a seasoned operations professional who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is prepared to work closely as a right-hand partner to the business' leadership. The role encompasses a broad range of operational responsibilities, requiring a strong grasp of e-commerce and distribution operations. This individual will play a key role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations for a five-person on-site team, providing remote support for the company's administrative, logistics, and customer service needs.

Required Availability:
- 50+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, primarily during 8 am to 5 pm EST. Will need to complete projects accordingly in the evenings or weekends. Can be flexible as long as there is a majority overlap in US operating hours.
- Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to meet operational demands.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in an operational or senior administrative role, preferably in distribution, logistics, or e-commerce.
- Proven experience supporting a US-based company in a remote capacity.
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project management tools, CRM platforms, and inventory management systems is a plus.

- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate specific projects to grow and operate the business across all aspects of the business. Will need to take the lead within these projects.
- Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless functionality across all aspects of the business.
- Customer Service Support: Handle customer inquiries, manage order status updates, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels, track orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
- Logistics Coordination:
Manage scheduling of deliveries, shipments, and order fulfillment.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle documentation, data entry, and report preparation for operational and financial tracking.
- E-commerce Support: Assist with website updates, product listings, and order management on e-commerce platforms.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Communication: Act as a key liaison between the remote leadership team and the on-site staff.
- Project Execution: Lead and execute projects aimed at improving operational effectiveness.
