Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Control Changes Engineer.

**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

A. Coordination of the "System of Engineering Changes (MCO)". Primary Function is the Management of all the Manufacturing Change Orders (Engineering, Product Deviation, Supplier and Manufacturing Process Changes) that comes to the different business units at SLP campus.
B. Responsible of developing and updating of the Standard Work Documentation (Time studies, combined work chart, station layout, balance worksheet and capacity chart) for each business unit.
C. Integrate, sustain, and improve the manufacturing system and infrastructure throughout the SLP plant, providing real time information to support business decision. Liaison between supplier and user to maximize system performance including system accuracy, performance, and uptime. Evaluate upgrades of technology to ensure that the benefits are consistent with the costs

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

A. Promotes the company´s vision by actively supporting Eaton´s ethics and values.
C. Manage BOM's and update ERP routings in the system for each business unit.
D. Review new part drawings and processes for proper utilization in the operation.
E. Comply with the requirements of the Eaton Quality System.
F. Active participation in the reduction of the high-risk priority numbers in manufacturing PFMEA´s.
H. Support PROLaunch process, participating in aspects related to manufacturing of new released components or assemblies. Review and evaluate new products, processes equipment and facility proposal. Lead and execute installation, runoff, and startup of transfer and new equipment. Complete Runoffs and PPAP´s on time according to established schedule.
I. Lead multidisciplinary teams in activities related to Operations, Manufacturing & Quality issues or improvements.
J. Motivate employees to maintains high level of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through affectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channel´s encourage promote desired behaviors and results

**Qualifications**:
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE**

A. Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Mechanical Administrator, Industrial Engineer or equivalent.
B. 3 Years' experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
C. English language at conversational level required.
D. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and make presentations.
E. Computer literate (Microsoft office, Outlook, ERP Oracle, CAD System, E Matrix, Minitab & Solid Works)
F. Enovia 2015X (Drawings and Management of Engineering Changes)
G. Skills at Interpreting Mechanical and Process Drawings.
H. Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Manufacturing Processes Knowledge & Assembly
I. PROLaunch. (Introduction of New Part Development, VAVE, new models, products, etc.)
J. Core Tools Knowledge.
K. ISO, IATF 16949 & Customer Requirements
L. Internal Auditor is a plus.
M. Six Sigma (Green Belt) is a plus
N. CQI-12 & CQI-15 is a plus

**Skills**:
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**

A. Industrial Engineer (MCO Coordinator) is responsible for ensuring the implementation of all changes that affected the product (CO) or process (MCO). Also, must develop and keep updated the work instructions and standard work for assembly line and machining cells accordingly.
B. Industrial Engineer is responsible for Oracle Routings and BOM´s update that impact gross utilization, productivity, and other factors.
C. Industrial Engineer is responsible for assigning T-numbers to newly created tooling and create the manufacturing plan in E-Matrix.
D. Proactive & result driven.
E. Develop positive employee relations.
F. Demonstrates and mature System integration, planning and execution abilities are essential.
G. Promotes continuous improvement.
H. Participate actively in all Eaton´s initiatives such as community involvement, diversity, and wellness.
I. Comply with the confidentiality agreements that are applicable and accept the data privacy policy accordingly.
