Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.What a typical day looks like:- Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipments etc.), confirmation of the order.- Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group- Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations- Preparation of long term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast)- Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /Non-consumed demand, planned WO's.- Preparing of Clean to build riports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.- Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences- Preparing management and CFT specificated reports, monitoring of KPI's /- Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.- Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.- Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.- Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.- Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.- Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.- Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.- Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.- May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling
