**Description**
This position assists in ensuring the efficient management and movement of train and engine crews using the Auto Crew Call system. It assists in coordination of lodging and transportation for crews with hotels, motels, and taxi companies.
**Accountabilities**
- Assists in handling all Auto Crew Call exceptions.
- Helps manage the Auto Crew Call system to support the transportation plan.
- Helps make hotel and motel reservations for crews.
- Coordinates with Works with taxi companies to transport crews between the trains and their lodging facility.
- Assists in issuance of bulletins and abolishment notices for train and yard jobs.
- Helps with creation of daily and monthly reports.
- Monitors and regulates crew boards at each location.
- Understands the relevant business metrics and applies effective tactics to sustain a culture of operational effectiveness that produces teams of high performing, engaged and empowered operational leaders.
- Identifies when a rule/regulation/policy has been violated and has one-on-one accountability conversations with an individual who has not met expectations, using KCS Candor, Aligning the Stars & KCS ABC's, and have the individual produce better results.

**Required**
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant operations experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Acumen in one or more disciplines of railroad operations
**Working Conditions**
- Shift work is an essential function of this job. Employees must have the ability and willingness to support critically important railroad operations 24 hours per day/7 days per week, working various shifts as assigned. Schedule assignments may include after-hours, weekends and holidays.

- This position may require mínimal travel up to 10% of the time.
