**Responsibilities**:
Track, tag, and maintain schedules to support the general ledger accounts of construction in process and fixed assets.
Active involvement in purchasing, receiving, and other procurement related activities.
Basic ability to track purchase orders and understand how they can potentially impact the financial statements.
Must be able to demonstrate having a strong working knowledge and experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and managing the accounting for inventory.
Basic banking responsibilities include initiating payments, and forecasting cash requirements.
Identify trends recommends, and implements improvements accordingly (labor, materials, productivity, efficiencies, etc.) through process optimization.
Prepare, enter, post and review journal entries with appropriate documentation.
Meet monthly and annual closing schedules, and prepare related financial schedules as deemed necessary by plant and company management.
Owner of plant costing process and ensures the plant standards accurately reflect the value of the products.
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of internal controls.
Direct preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of proper financial planning and analysis processes.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills, and ability manage multiple priorities.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
**Understand Mexican tax law (not limited to, but including**: VAT, Payroll Tax, Monthly Compliance with tax auditors).
**Minimum Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; along with three to five years of related experience.
Experience in budgets, forecast and financial planning.
Excellent written and verbal bi-lingual communication skills.
Knowledge of Accounting software (Infor XA and QuickBooks is a plus); and be proficient in Microsoft office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics CRM is a plus.
