**Description**
**Your responsibilities**:
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains general ledger by preparing trial balance and reconciling entries.
- Prepares financial reports key to business growth, sales forecasts, commission tracking, monthly P&L, etc.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Prepares monthly budget-to-actual cost analysis.
- Assists with annual audit, tax returns and other regulatory filing requirements.
- Update and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Oversees the payroll and accounts payable processing.
- Assists with the maintenance and upgrades of software used by the organization.
- Secures financial information, ensuring data is properly maintained and filed, with appropriate backups.
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
- Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action
- Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development
- Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies
- Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Manage outsourced functions
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
- Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
- Manage financial operations across all ONE400 business lines (e.g., SLG, MX operations, etc.)
- Other duties and projects as assigned
**Desired skills and experience**:
- A minimum of three years of related experience.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
- Advanced Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Proficiency in working with distributed teams.
Using Slack, video and other tools to meet with colleagues.
- Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to establish priorities, maintain a variety of projects and activities simultaneously, and to complete work in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively with mínimal supervision.

- Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements as well as the requirements of private contributions, loans, and government contracts
- Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
- In conjunction with the CFO, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation
- Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection
