We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced _**Controller **_to join our real estate tech company.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support informed decision-making.
**Responsibilities**:- **Financial Planning & Budgeting**:- Lead the development and implementation of the annual budget, including setting financial goals and objectives.- Develop long-range financial plans and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.- **Strong analytical and critical thinking skills**:- The ability to dissect information, identify key points, and analyze potential risks and opportunities within a contract.- **Accounting & Internal Controls**:- Oversee the entire accounting function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.- Manage and develop internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.- **Compliance & Regulatory Reporting**:- Manage tax preparation and filing, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns.- Stay informed of changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure the company's policies and procedures are updated accordingly.- **Leadership & Collaboration**:- Provide leadership and guidance, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.- Build strong relationships with other departments within the company to ensure alignment between financial goals and overall business objectives.

(essential)Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial accounting role overseeing the financial aspects of a business.
Financial management of real estate is a plus but not a requirement.- Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
Familiarity with real estate operations is a plus but not required.- Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS (as applicable) and relevant accounting principles.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.- Proficient in Quickbooks Online.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire others.The Philippines, South Africa, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Chile and ArgentinaApplications must have a cover letter to be considered.Thank you!Work Location: In person
