Responsibilities: 1. Performs the daily Accounting and Finance operations related to the G/L and payables. 2. Manages the company's Treasury function. 3. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with all departments of the company including Production, Import/Export Compliance, EH&S and Human Resources. 4. Develops and maintains all necessary accounting policies and systems to ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax standards. 5. Ensures that systems are set up to efficiently provide needed information to upper management and external advisors to facilitate timely filing of various regulatory requirements and returns. 6. Establishes, implements and communicates accounting policies and procedures to company. 7. Serves as liaison with external tax advisors and local Hermosillo based CPA firm. 8. Prepares and presents analysis of consolidated monthly reports; makes recommendations for improving Company's financial position. 9. Develops, implements and monitors effectiveness of internal controls and associated documentation and processes. Work directly with operations personnel to identify and implement cost reduction projects. 10. Works with Production, Supply Chain Management and Vendors and internal Customers to improve material and capital acquisition pricing/cost.
Experiência y requisitos
Requieriments: - 5 years as a Controller in a manufacturing business. - Have a degree or professional license. - Have a VISA and Passport. - Direct responsibility for cost accounting. - Familiar with typical Maquila style VAT/IVA and customs return filings, refund processes, and import/export incentive programs. - Direct responsibility for treasury functions. - Detailed knowledge of ERP, implementation experience preferred. - Knowledge of job shop environment is preferred.
