Job Description Accounting Leadership:Lead and manage the accounting operations of the company, including the preparation of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Audit:Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary. Monthly Financials:Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly financial statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the financial position of the company. Analyze and report on financial performance and make recommendations to the CFO. Technical Accounting:Manage all technical accounting, including revenue deferral/recognition, expense accruals, asset depreciation/amortization, investments, managerial reserves/estimates, lease/debt amortization, intercompany, and equity. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, PCAOB Audit standards/requirements, COSO internal control framework, and other regulatory requirements. Tax Filings:Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international government reporting, tax filings/payments, registrations, and licensing requirements. Accounts Payable and Receivable:Supervise the processing of company-wide payments and the recording of all transactions. Oversee the management of all receivables to ensure prompt and accurate payment. Medical Funding Reconciliation and Payment:Oversee the process of medical funding reconciliation and payment, including reviewing medical estimates versus usual and customary charges, negotiating and approving medical contracts, and managing the payment of medical suppliers in accordance with accounts receivable purchase agreements. Salesforce Management:Utilize Salesforce for various financial operations and reporting, ensuring the system is used to its full capabilities and provides accurate, up-to-date financial information. Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Oversee and lead the continuous improvement of accounting processes and the development of the team through the identification of opportunities for process improvement and leadership development. Requirements 10 years of experience in Accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Strong knowledge of US GAAP. Solid leadership skills. Proficient in English communication.
