**General Description**:
**Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Completes smaller or less complex projects independently. May work on larger or more complex projects with the guidance of a Project Lead. Takes direction from and completes tasks given by Project Lead.
- Develop control hardware design using AutoCAD Electric.
- Performs advanced programming functions and can debug.
- Develop software design using Supplier software (such as Rockwell 5000, Siemens TIA).
- Adherence to both client and department-established procedures and workflows.
- Work with Senior Engineer / Account Manager to maintain team members, roles and responsibilities, and goals at the onset of projects.
- Proactively communicates with Project Lead/manager on completed tasks, learning needs, and project-specific information.
- Download and commission software on the customer's site. Work with the customer to achieve acceptance.
- Mentor others on technical and/or soft skills and models appropriate behavior.
- Adherence to FZ and client Safety standards.
- Participates as needed for assigned on-call duty.
**Key Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable Engineering program and 2 years' experience in Industrial Control systems OR a minimum of 4 years of related experience in Industrial Control Systems with an Associate's Degree in applicable Engineering program OR a minimum of 6 years of related experience in Industrial Control systems.
**Knowledge & Skills & Competencies Required**:
- Proficient in at least 1 of the widely used control system platforms.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong customer relations skills and ability to work cross-functionally with a diverse group of people across the business including PMs, service department, CSMs, and others.

- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong manufacturing environment troubleshooting skills are required.
- High desire to learn and develop expertise in software and systems.
- Ability to manage self to meet project deadlines and customer expectations. Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and temperature extremes.
- Ability to travel up to 35% throughout the year as well as occasional night or weekend hours.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
