BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Control Engineer at our SLP Plant in Mexico.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the PLM, the Controls Engineer will be primarily responsible for developing, supporting and efficient control equipment in existing manufacturing and testing processes, as well as in new projects, the result of which is the fulfillment of organizational objectives and the elaboration of proposals to improve the processes and equipment applied.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the necessary software for control equipment.
- Manage adequate support of programs on control machines.
- Coordinate with the area of Manufacturing Engineering, actions for the optimization of control and security systems.
- Participate in both corrective and preventive actions in the face of maintenance area problems
- Statistical study and analysis of production lines to detect failures and reflect improvement results.
- Update of control systems in production equipment
- Verify compliance with the different steps of the production processes defined through systems logic.
- Maintain current control equipment.
- Make an annual support of the control equipments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Industrial Engineer in Electronics, Engineer in Electronics, Degree in Instrumentation or related career.
- Time of experience in a similar position: 2 years or more
- Technical knowledge required: Manufacturing processes, Quality systems, Automation, Industrial Electronics, Basic hydraulics and pneumatics, Statistical process control
- Other requirements: Microsoft Office, PLC's programming.
