Controls Engineer Opportunity We currently have an opening for a Controls Engineer at Saltillo Plant. Primary Job ResponsibilitiesMust have a working knowledge of automated assembly systems, a good understanding of the basic theory of industrial control systems applications, design, and operation including concepts of power distribution.Capable of performing the following manufacturing engineering functions: Tooling, process & layout design; quality engineering, ergonomics and safety.Ability to troubleshoot and program machine controls (Siemens - Step 7, Allen Bradley - Ladder Logic).Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Able to support all shifts as required.Strong troubleshooting skills.ExpectationsEffective oral and written communication skills.Personal skills include ability to work well with others, team spirit, flexibility with personal schedule to meet deadlines and support business travel.Microsoft Office tools experience required.Experience with Phoenix PC Works, Inderbus, Devicenet, RS View, Control Logix.Qualifications and Experience3 year technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.3 years experience and demonstrated success as a Manufacturing/Controls Engineer in an Automotive Manufacturing or Assembly facility.Experience in training others.AutoCAD experience is a plus.Plant start up experience desired.Traits/ValuesHope: The quality of possessing and adhering to positive, optimistic expectation of future events.Trust: Confidence in one another.Compassion: The quality of an understanding of another's challenges.Justice: Concern for fairness.Wisdom: The quality of having good, sound judgement.Courage: Strength in the face of adversity.Selection ProcessQualified applicants will be interviewed.
