Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.CONTROLS ENGINEER**JOB SUMMARY**:**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Maintaining checklists- Review and input data into PLC log- Review shift reports- Participation in and preparation for managerial meetings- Programming- Work across with other facilities- Work cross functionally with other departments- Utilize team member feedback- Find solutions to critical issues- Maintain and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE)- HMI performance- Evaluate new manufacturing and controls technologies- Work with tools to find the root cause of an issue- Continuous improvement projects- Keep equipment operating and improve equipment uptime by performing periodic audits- Identify and implement error proofing requirements throughout the production process- Incident reporting- SOT walks- Follow health and safety processes- Act in a proactive and preventative safety behavior- Documentation and reports- Ensure that you stay up to date on controls technology- Stay compliant with training required for position- All other duties as assigned**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or in related fields- Years of Experience: 2+ year experience in industry and related equipment- English proficiency**TRAVEL**:- Travel Required: minimum**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:- Allen Bradley (Studio 5000), Siemens (step 7), and C++- C sharp and ladder logic experience- Ability to read drawing- Advanced knowledge of electronic devices- Expertise on Fanuc Roberts programming- Knowledge on communication protocols- Advance computer trouble shooting experience**TRAITS/VALUES**:- The quality of possessing and adhering to positive, optimistic expectation of future events.- Confidence in one another.- The quality of an understanding of another's challenges.- Concern for fairness.- The quality of having good, sound judgement.- Strength in the face of adversity.
