We open the world to our employees.Combine your career goals and sense of adventure by joining our exciting team of employees as our new Sales Support Coordinator.This position will be working onsite from Mexico City.Position SummaryThe Sales Support Coordinator has the responsibility of analyzing databases to obtain information and take decisions, implementing Power BI Projects to automate the collection of sales information, following up on promotions, and calculating incentive payments.
This role also involves documenting and updating SOPs about sales support tasks.What will you work on?Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and enhance high impact business reporting.Market price analysis and promotional strategies.Develop and communicate strategic plans, tracking the results and adjusting to market needs.Analyze and disseminate competitive data regarding products, services, and pricing to identify marketplace trends and innovations.Provide analytical support on tactical and strategic special projects.Prepare weekly sales reports for the leadership team as required.Identify sales opportunities and potential market growth.Ensure travel partners are on track to meet month-end goals and share innovative lead generating ideas.Handle administrative duties for the sales department.Manage Co-op and Marketing funds for Travel Partners and Representatives ensuring maximum return on investment.Follow up with travel partners and representatives for administrative purposes and provide troubleshooting assistance.Extract information from databases and create reports.Organize and methodically execute projects.Manage Trade Partner Updates and Commission Plans renewals (amends to profiles via AS400).Carry out daily admin duties (Cruising Power, AS-400, bookings issues, special requests).Conduct Sox control at a booking level and agency maintenance on a monthly basis.What you bring to RCG?Qualifications, Knowledge and SkillEducated to a Degree Level with a professional qualification in Tourism / Business / Administration / Marketing.Fully bilingual: English/Spanish/Portuguese.Previous experience with Sales or Marketing preferred but not required.Analytical skills to interpret data trends.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.Knowledge of Hyperion, Brio, Access, Microsoft Project, Visio, Lotus Notes, and the AS400 or equivalent mainframe reservations system strongly preferred.Ability to work, interact, and communicate with external/internal customers at all levels.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Work on projects independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Project management and follow-up skills
