Reports to a people leader at a higher career level.**Accountabilities**- Manages the field teams responsible for installing and maintaining assigned wayside communication base stations and Automatic Equipment Identification (AEI) readers.- Oversees the maintenance and repairs assigned radio signal locations for locomotive cab radios, End of Train devices (EOTs), Head of Train devices (HEDs) and repeaters (DP, EOT, RCL).- Manages the support of installed camera and WIFI systems at assigned locations.- Installs and maintains assigned wayside communication base stations and Automatic Equipment Identification (AEI) readers.- Maintains and repairs assigned radio signal locations for locomotive cab radios, End of Train devices (EOTs), Head of Train devices (HEDs) and repeaters (DP, EOT, RCL).- Assists in the support of installed camera and WIFI systems at assigned locations.- Exemplifies KCS Vision, Values, and Culture in each and every interaction with team, clients, and stakeholders.**Required**- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, including leading and managing projects or programs with outcome focused deliverables, or equivalent combination of education and experience- Minimum one (1) year of experience directly or indirectly leading a team- FCC radio operator license - optional- English Fluency**Preferred**- Post-secondary education; 5 years related experience; experience leading teams.**Essential Functions**- Skilled with abilities to install, maintain and support complex telecommunications systems.- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.- This position may require mínimal travel up to 10% of the time
