Job DescriptionAs a Manager III, Audit and Compliance, you will be responsible for directly supervising and coordinating the activities of clerical and administrative support workers, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. This position also involves providing leadership to managers and professional associates, as well as ensuring the performance and results of multiple teams.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervise and coordinate the activities of clerical and administrative support workers in the Audit and Compliance department.Provide leadership, guidance, and support to managers and professional associates, fostering a collaborative work environment.Ensure the performance and results of multiple teams within the department align with overall departmental and corporate objectives.Develop and implement departmental plans, including short and long-term goals, in alignment with organizational objectives.Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and monitor the implementation of these actions.Ensure departmental compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness, and keep up to date on industry best practices and developments.Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.Work ExperienceProvides leadership to managers and professional associates.Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple teams.Decision-making is guided by department/district objectives.Has 7 to 10 years of work experience.Has 1 to 3 years of management experience.Job Functional KnowledgeAction ManagementLeadershipBusiness ExpertiseProblem SolvingTalent DevelopmentImpactTeamwork and CollaborationInterpersonal SkillsEducationAssociate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.CertificationsCertified Internal Auditor (CIA)Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Additional certifications may be required or preferred.
