.As the continuous improvement coordinator, you will enhance the efficiency of operations in both Metro and Outlying Distribution Centers, and administrative areas. This will be achieved through the design, implementation, and consolidation of improvement methodologies and systems that support the attainment of organizational strategies and objectives defined by senior management. The focus is on fostering a culture of Operational Excellence by coordinating, preparing, and training leaders, middle managers, and selected associates to develop, implement, and sustain improvement actions. You will report to the Operational Excellence Leader.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will collaborate with distribution center leaders and administrative areas to develop a strategic plan for Improvement Events, contributing to business objectives and financial impact.Coordinate the monitoring of progress in the strategic plan for Improvement Events within the business.Develop customized methodologies and/or Improvement Systems that align with the business needs as per senior management requirements.Implement methodologies designed and developed for the business.Provide guidance and support to leaders in executing Continuous Improvement Methodologies.Manage, coach, review progress, and ensure the effectiveness of Projects, Kaizen Events, Kaizen Blitz, and Lean workshops.You will track the fulfillment of indicators for various improvement events as defined in the Strategic Alignment process.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years applying Continuous Improvement methodologies.Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel): Intermediate to advanced.Basic Knowledge: Specialization in continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, LEAN, or Six Sigma, Shingo), continuous improvement projects (DMAIC, SMED, KAIZEN, etc.).Ability to train, offering development solutions through training, coaching, and auditing.Leadership by influence.Language: Spanish and preferably intermediate English.This job posting may have multiple locations listed.
