The EHS Coordinator is responsible for implementing, following up, and coordinating actions for industrial, health, and environmental safety.Programs to prevent and/or correct risky or unhealthy labor conditions, environmental prevention and protection measures to comply with the Mexican Legal Requirements, and internal policies and procedures.**Activities**:- Support in the implementation of the organizational culture.- Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and auditing the environmental control system.- Responsible for implementing industrial safety, health and environmental programs to prevent and/or correct risky or unhealthy labor conditions. - Responsible for the coordination and good operation of the internal health and safety commission.- Maintains an updated contingency plan within the company in coordination with federal, state, and local authorities by establishing emergency response plans.- Follows up on the actions to obtain and update operational permits before the different government offices.- Evaluates and recommend the purchase of safety and personal protection equipment and materials as well as environmental prevention, protection, and control equipment and materials for the different areas of the company.- Communicates the policies, internal procedures, and government regulations to the corporate.- Responsible for monitoring and auditing practices regarding the handling, storage, and disposition of materials and residues (dangerous and non-dangerous) to assure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.Requirements**:- Bachelor´s degree.- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in a similar position.- Bilingual (English - Spanish).- Valid US Visa.- Decision-making, organizational and communication skills are required.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- Diurno- Lunes a viernes
