**Position Summary**
The position is responsible for planning, developing and monitoring activities and programs in the areas of Safety, Security Protection, Environmental and Hygiene, aimed at establishing a culture of safety, reducing the risks and complying with federal, state and municipal programs in legal matter of safety, environmental, civil protection and hygiene, as well as supervising that medical care is provided to employees who require it, to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of Environmental, Health and Safety and complies with the certifications, Corporate Requirements and Norms or Standards in this regard.
**Responsibilities**
- Advise to the management staff, in matters of risk prevention, for the different activities carried out in each area, or in new projects, studies, ergonomic studies and risk analysis.
- Develop and deploy the guidelines, policies and procedures related to the EHS area and applicable to the entire company.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Medical Service, Facility Protection, Industrial Safety, Hygiene and Environmental.
- Ensure the protection of the assets and human resources of the company, through the plant protection system.
- Ensure that contractor activities comply with the safety and environmental standards established in the organization.
- Develop PPE matrix and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment as well as its conditions and special operations.
- Supervise the maneuvers and qualification of the evacuation and emergency response brigades, first aid, firefighting equipment and handling of chemical substances.
- Development and implementation of training and certifications required in safety, environmental and hygiene.
- Coordinate the activities of the local Safety Star Point and Natural HPTs related.
- Steering committee, meeting support, goal development, audits.
- Coordinate the activities of the health and safety commission team, including training and audits.
- Responsibility for the proper control and management of hazardous chemicals and wastes and fire hazard conditions.
- Development and implementation of safety audits on machinery, equipment, and facilities
- Attention to internal and external audits on EHS
- Responsible for monitoring operational control related to environmental aspects.
- Business Continuity Plan, development and rehearsal.
- Certify and maintain adequate compliance with the CTPAT-NEEC Standard.
- Support to implement and evaluate the local BCP.
- Participation in Kaizen events, when appropriate be a facilitator or leader.
- Develop and deploy the guidelines, policies and procedures related to the EHS area and applicable to the entire company.
- Generate and keep management indicators updated.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in EHS activities
- Advance English
- Internal Auditor Certification.
- ISO14001.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Safety and Health Legal Requirements and Standards, all government levels.
- Knowledge of Carbon Footprint Reduction and Water Conservation (Climate Action)
- Knowledge in determining the IMSS risk premium
- Knowledge of Safety in machinery and equipment with moving parts.
- Internal instructor certification.
- Computing basics certification (excel, word, power point, etc.)
