**Name of position: EHS Leader.**
**1. OBJECTIVE.**
It is responsible for planning, developing and overseeing activities and programs in the areas of safety, protection, ecology and hygiene aimed at establishing a culture of safety, reducing the degree of the Risk Premium Factor and complying with federal, state and municipal programs in legal safety, civil protection and hygiene matters, as well as supervising that medical attention is provided to employees who require it, to ensure that the Company remains at the forefront in the areas of Ecology, Health and Safety and complies with the certifications and standards established in this regard.
**2. GENERAL FUNCTIONS.**
- Plant Safety and Environmental Coordination.
- Elaboration of Land Use.
- Registration as waste generators.
- Preparation and submission of State and Federal COA.
- Follow-up on environmental impact conditions and waste management plans.
- Management of programming and follow-up of environmental studies, perimeter noise, wastewater discharges.
- Attention to visitors, sending of indicators to management, monthly results meetings.
- Legal compliance follow-up.
- EHS budget preparation and control.
- Registration and follow-up of accidents in SIAAT, IMSS.
- Filling and posting of indicators in dashboards and internal communication tools.
- Preparation of special and hazardous waste management plans.
- Elaboration and follow-up of legal compliance action plans and safety studies.
- Course development and implementation.
- Record compliance with activities, EHS team courses.
- Internal compliance and performance audits.
- Effective communication with direct managers.
- Support in audits required by the client, CTPAT, ISO, IATF.
- Management of safety studies and compliance with STPS, civil protection and applicable regulations.
- Scheduling and management of health and safety weeks.
- Development of a training plan.
- Development of quality, environmental and safety procedures.
- Coordination of the medical department.
- Coordination of the private security department.
- Programming and execution of fire and evacuation drills.
- Attention to inspection visits to state and municipal civil protection and/or STPS.
- Coordination of the local mutual aid committee.
- Support in security inductions for new personnel.
- Ensure that contractors' work complies with the safety standards established in the company.
- Registration of Pressure Vessels before STPS.
- Scheduling and compliance with CSH tours.
- Conducting risk analysis of routine and non-routine activities.
- Scheduling of fire system inspections.
- Management and disposal of special and hazardous waste.
- Implementation of Internal Civil Protection Programs.

**WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS.**
Relationship with all administrative and operational personnel (directors, managers, administrative, technical, and operational), suppliers, contractors, as well as official governmental agencies.
**3. JOB REQUIREMENTS.**
- Completed bachelor's degree in environmental studies, sanitary inspection, risk management and insurance, industrial safety, occupational health, chemical engineering, or civil engineering.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in charge of the area or 8 years within the area.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP systems and governmental procedures.
- Conversational English.
