Join our KB Rail Mexico team in our next steps.**JOB DESCRIPTION**:- Position Summary:This position is considered as critical for legal compliance, environmental sustainability, property safety, and community and employee safety and health.Essential Functions:- Oversee and coordinate compliance and enforcement actions- Maintain Environmental Management and Safety Management Systems (ex: ISO 14001)- Manage hazardous waste programs, recycling programs, environmental metrics and projects, WWTP, non-hazardous waste programs and ECCO2 projects.- Supervise (HSE Technicians or Environmental Processes Operators)- Mentor and Train on HSE related topics- Assist (HSE Technicians or Environmental Processes Operators) as needed- HSE program development and continuous improvement- KPS program management- Accurate and timely reporting and tracking of all key metrics and KPIs- Time and Attendance of (HSE Technicians or Environmental Processes Operators), and security personnel- HSE studies and assessments for compliance and reporting- Inventory controls- Auditing and inspections of programs and locations- Insuring compliance with all applicable programs- Identify hazards or potential risks and assists staff with eliminating or mitigating those hazards- Understands and uses personal protective equipment, safe work practices, environmental stewardship practices and team work- Assist HSE Leader with budget controls and other duties as dictated- Under direction of the HSE Leader, supervise the guard services- Lead HSE related cost deployment activities- Knows and Communicates the need for product safety.- As well performs all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.Management & Supervisory Responsibilities:- Typically reports to Management
