POSITION OBJETIVE
The Global Trade Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing all the all aspects of import/export (including virtual) customs activity in Mexico and control the Mexican fiscal programs.
The role is primarily responsible for monitoring and auditing activities to ensure BRP Mexico site is in compliance with the Mexican Customs regulations, including IMMEX regulations and others.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create value, agility, finding alternatives and supporting the growth meanwhile managing a high level of compliance in our operations.
Ensure BRP complies with all customs regulations requirements and other applicable regulations.
Develop key performance indicators to ensure all customs transactions follow Mexican Customs Law.
Coordinate Customs brokers to ensure the service level agreement is met with internal clients.
Manage self-audits, contingency plans, workload reviews, customs department procedures, and record keeping control.
Identify opportunities for continues improvement
Duties and taxes reconciliation data management reports to evaluate opportunity areas
Provide Guidelines to the business and our service providers to ensure higher level of compliance.
Interact effectively with multi-functional areas including management, supply chain, sales,purchasing, distribution, engineering, finance, IT and legal to prevent trade disruptions
Follow BRP values and behaviors
Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
Enforce Quality BRP policy

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor degree at International Commerce or related
Experience of 5-7 years in a similar position
Customs law & Rules in foreign trade
Knowledge SAP
Knowledge of international free trade agreements
Tariff classification knowledge
Result driven mindset
Focused to develop continuous improvements
Analytical skills

Service Attitude
