Located in our Santa Fe office, you will work collaboratively with Gates engineering and marketing teams around the world to gather relevant product background, data, stories, case studies, competitive intelligence, and images to culminate in the creation of shared content that's understandable to the average reader. As a detail-oriented, experienced, and resourceful collector and writer, you are accustomed to working with mínimal supervision, and you aren't afraid to have an opinion. Through your research and writing, you will authentically connect Gates to our most important customers, prospects, and stakeholders.**Key responsibilities**- Collaborate with Gates product line stakeholders and 3rd party resources (as needed) to create compelling and well-rounded content that describes our products and solutions in an accurate, engaging technical manner and, which highlights our expertise in solving the target audience(s) problems. You will take initiative to research and interview key product stakeholders to develop a single product playbook that features:- A complete market analysis- Target audience definition and insights- New product functionality- End-user benefits- Key product differentiators- Competitive landscape- Objection handling- Application opportunities- Key selling points- Lead call script for sales teams- Provide additional resources that would be beneficial for Gates sales and/or marketing teams.- Participate in the creation of other marketing or sales enablement content**ABOUT YOU**- Highly proficient in translating complex ideas and technical and marketing speak into simple prose that anyone could understand- ** 5 - 7** years professional **editorial experience** (writing, editing, and proofreading)- BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field- ** English fluent **spoken- Experience in technical, automotive, or industrial copy writing- Ability to make content decisions even when information is limited, work effectively in a team and autonomously, and implement different projects at once- Capacity to detect and minimize risks, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize activities- Good understanding of SEO/SEM principles- Ability to focus on the needs of the target audiences.
