Responsible for the development of all supervisors through training programs and to ensure that the plant has a trained and proficient workforce that accomplishes meeting department goals on quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the plant operation and meeting department and company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.Responsible for developing and training supervisors and employees, working within the guidelines of the Union contract and company policies.Responsible for quick and timely feedback to the plant manager on all exceptions regarding productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost, safety, and turnover.Responsible for monitoring KPIs needed to control areas of responsibility.Enable a safety culture that ensures our employees work in an environment free of risks.Participates in department meetings in the planning processes and in the test and development of techniques/processes.Other duties as assigned.Member of safety committees.Requirements:Proven leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.LEAN Manufacturing Certification and demonstrated application in previous roles.Applied knowledge and/or Security certification in relevant areas.Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with strategic thinking capabilities.Excellent communication skills and a people-oriented mindset.Openness and ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and production team members.A strong attitude and disposition to achieve change and goals – "It CAN be done!"Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
Candidates with a minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Plant Superintendent will be given preference
