**Description**:
**Main responsibilities**:
- Establish and provide security guidance to protect Corteva's people, assets, and business covering the areas of Meso Andean (mainly Mexico and Colombia) and Southern Cone (mainly Argentina and Chile).
- Manage the Education & Awareness Program including security training sessions to Site Security Focal Points, and release of communications spreading the security culture, recommendations, and mindset across all employees.
- Support Corteva's worksite teams to manage physical security, including the implementation, contracts, and investments related to cameras, alarms, guard staff and other security measures.
- Oversee investigations including, but not limited to: trade secret, robbery, illicit trade, and other security incidents.
- Crisis management support, responsible for providing security expertise to the Crisis Management Teams and assistance in implementing the crisis management system across the region.
- Be the focal point for supporting the regional leadership for any security issue, including travel security and business decisions.
- Maintain a constant risk/threat assessment and intelligence network across the regions, also promoting the proper situational awareness to business areas and employees by monitoring and sharing security conditions, trends, and recommendations.
- Establish and maintain liaison with law enforcement agencies and external security stakeholders such as OSAC, ASIS, and other companies for benchmark and others.
- Engage with functional leadership including Legal, HR, IT, Facilities, and other areas.
- Support security aspects for events, business meetings, travel, as required.
- Lead and perform security risk assessments at required company facilities and regions.
**Qualifications**:** Position Requirements**:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security or in law enforcement.
- Must have a business acumen and clear orientation for results and cost-benefit analysis.
- Ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of the company, including senior leadership.
- Able to work autonomously and to create an organized and date-oriented way of working.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have proficiency in Spanish and English.
**Preferred Competencies**:
- Security Certification(s), including CPP from ASIS International.
- Experience working in a decentralized environment where decision-making is shared and leadership by influence rather than authority.
- Have a background of autonomous problem solver and decision-maker way of working.
- Solid interpersonal skills to interact and create strong partnership with people from different cultures and areas.
