General Description: The Corporate Web Publisher is responsible for updates, modification, creation, and publication of web pages on our corporate website (NXP.com) with prior analysis of compliance with our corporate guidelines.
Utilizes corporate and external tools to follow the proper processes during the entire publishing cycle, from receiving requests in the standard ticket system to performing the job requested in the implemented content management system.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations: Support requests for implementing updates/new changes to NXP.com considering documents, software, webpages, videos, and graphics. Web launch support to introduce new products to the market. Review a large amount of information to identify faults against corporate guidelines. Propose changes based on corporate guidelines. Perform quality assurance testing throughout the entire development process. Report system issues and support testing in code changes accordingly. Involvement in major corporate projects such as content migration, content clean-up, microsites, etc. Constant communication with peers and extended team on projects and request status. Knowledge/Skills: Electronics knowledge is a significant plus. HTML 5.0: New items and attributes, character entities, and frameworks integration. CSS3: Selectors Level 3, advanced styling attributes, media queries, flex boxes, and grid layouts. JavaScript: Ability to create custom functions, events, and DOM handling. UI, acceptance, browser, and functional testing; debugging processes. Good understanding of back-end technologies. Proven experience in any Content Management System. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Commitment to on-time deliveries. Organized and detail-oriented. Analysis and handling of data. Proactive and self-driven. Self-learner. Works well under pressure. Job Requirements: English: Fluent. Bachelor's Degree (preferred in engineering or information technology). At least 1-year experience with client-side web development and maintenance using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with web management systems. Ideal candidate has experience in project management, testing, and/or customer service. Database knowledge is a significant plus.
