The purpose of this position is to be responsible for key aspects of the company's cost accounting functions, including period-end closing, financial reporting, and audits. This role interfaces with multiple functional groups, including managers/leaders across the organization and is considered a key liaison for the Accounting department as well as across Finance.ActivitiesPerform month-end closing responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, manufacturing variance analysis, and inventory reporting. Identifies and reports any anomalies or trends to Manager, Cost Accounting.Perform standard and in-depth cost rolls on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods requested by Corteva Supply Chain Team.Support Financial Reporting to Finance, Controllership, and Portfolio leaders with all internal financial reporting requirements (especially related to Cost Accounting), and ad-hoc projects/requests.Support Corteva's Supply Chain Team with the annual physical inventory.Participate in external annual audit and quarterly review process. Prepare schedules, conduct research, and answer auditor questions timely, as necessary.Complete certain regulatory reporting requirements (Local, Tax, and USGAAPS).Work in conjunction with Supply Chain Team on any inventory adjustments.Prepare and reconcile slow moving & obsolete inventory, as necessary.Develop SAP capabilities and functionality for Cost Accounting within Corteva.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.3+ years of progressive accounting experience, desirable with cost accounting and inventory focus.Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a team.SAP experience is a must (CO, FI & MM).Microsoft Excel skills are required.SOX experience required.Advanced English level mandatory.#J-18808-Ljbffr
