Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Cost Accountant Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
**Job summary**
As part of the Finance group, the Cost Accountant Analysrr will be responsible proper accounting of the balance sheet and P&L for multiple ledgers and legal entities, in accordance with Eaton Financial Policy, Mexican GAAP and US GAAP. As well as ensuring compliance with statutory, fiscal and ax requirements for Mexican legal entities. In addition, it will maintain and foster good customer and supplier relationship by providing both timely billing of product, payment of invoices, and problem resolution.
**Job responsibilities**
A. Coordinate the anual costing roll process, montly tracking and, margin variations related to COGS
B. Ensure proper register & reconciliation of payroll and benefits, between TRESS ERP and SAP Financial modules, travel and expense processing
C. Ensure compliance of accounts payable activities, such as: invoice processing, debit memo processing, management of the monthly cash out flows, recurring payment and supplier payment follow-up activities, payroll and benefits, travel and expense processing, hold resolution, and compliance with electronic invoicing regulations and addressing supplier payment issues, among others.
D. Establish and monitor compliance with internal accounting controls deemed necessary to ensure integrity of financial transactions, reporting and activities in adherence with corporate policies and procedures. Ensure compliance of statutory requirements as applicable to the plant.
E. Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of fiscal compliance and internal control, across the plant. Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all applicable statutory requirements as applicable across various functions.
F. Coordinate and manage Mexican tax and audit compliance activities. Ensure timely submission of fiscal requirements to auditors and authorities.

**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor degree in business, accountant, finance or similar
**Years and area of experience required**
- 3-5 Experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting is a plus
**Technical knowledge**
- Forcing Low Knowledge, Knowledge of US GAAP -preferred, SAP knowledge will be a plus, Working knowledge of electronic data processing systems as well as strong knowledge of spreadsheet software packages., Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, credit and collection and general accounting that enables the incumbent to solve daily and high exposure problems, Spreadsheet and overall computer / system literacy.
