**Cost Accountant (Bilingual Spanish)****SALTILLO COAHUILA CP 25294****$60,000 per year depending on experience****Position Summary of the Cost Accountant****Job Duties and responsibilities****Data Collection **of the Cost Accountant**- Collect and record cost information and maintain an expenses database- Construct data accumulation systems- Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems**Inventory **of the Cost Accountant**- Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts- Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues- Update standard costs in the bill of materials- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close- Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory**Analysis **of the Cost Accountant**- Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses- Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and factories- Report on margins by product and division- Determine fixed costs; Plan and record variable costs (e.G.
purchases of raw material and operations costs)- Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)- Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances- Analyze capital budgeting requests- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions- Making estimates of new and proposed product costs- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
**Requirements of the Cost Accountant**- 7+ years of cost accounting in manufacturing industry- A BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance, as well as excellent analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.- Have experience manipulating large databases.- Expected to be highly familiar with all production operations, and to regularly visit all significant company operations.- Knowledge of FIFO and standard costing- Advance Chinese is must.- Manufacturing industry experience is requiredPay: From $60,000.00 per year**Experience**:- cost accountant: 2 years (required)**Language**:- fluent in English and Spanish (required)
