General Responsibilities- Leads close activities for the company to accurately report results within the closing cycle- Prepare, reconcile, and report on relevant cost accounting close activities- Handles journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations- Develop and maintain cost accounting system, documentation, records, and reporting- Support internal stakeholders to make effective business decisions- Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs- Reviews and document costs for all external inventory, labor, and material purchases- Leads and complete internal cost audits- Review and document inventory and material purchases- Accurately record and update existing and new purchased materials and goods- Compile documentation on standard costs and company production costs- Ensure compliance to applicable accounting guidelines, polices, and internal control procedures- Coordinate and execute physical inventories according to annual plans- Experience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.E.
