This position is responsible for Operational Accounting, analyzing variances, cost expenditures and purchases within the organization. Review services and goods, record data, and make recommendations about Cost-efficient and financially feasible cost options.
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
- Analyze and maintain inventory standard costs, including the periodic updating of standard costs from current
- Product level variance analysis tounderstand the root cause of work orders variances and implement the necessary corrective actions
- Manage product BOM structure and ensure accuracy throughout product lifecycle (quoting, NPI, and production)
- Work with Engineering to ensure BOMs are reflective of actual performance in the plant and implement corrective actions if necessary.
- Work with Operations personnel on frequent basis through all phases of product launch and production to help enhance productivity and financial performance of business.
- Analyze daily/weekly/monthly item margin reports to identify products with unacceptable contribution margins, and products where costs have increased, requiring customer pricing changes.
- Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
- Conduct Physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
- Analyze any changes in goods or services provided to determine what effect it has on the cost.

Experiência y requisitos
- Time Management and organization.
- Accounting and Financial manufacturing knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual English / Spanish.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 5+ Years in Cost Accounting & analysis work experience.
- Solid Cost system background.
- 80% English
- Excellent Report
- writing communication skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Strong interpersonal collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and /or External Customers
- ERP knowledge (QAD a plus)
