Cost Accountant I

Position Summary: Manages financial risks, financial planning and forecasting within a specific business unit or function including compliance with all financial record-keeping requirements. May also manage other finance disciplines including general accounting. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reportsMajor Responsibilities:- Provide Daily Absorption report to Staff.- Prepare and provide Deloitte / SOX documentation requirements requested by auditors- Provide weekly and monthly cycle count reports.- Integral team member during annual physical inventory- Validate E&O disposal- Perform mainly commodities cc audits- Daily/Annual cost roll participation (NMR/ECR/Inv revaluation)- Track all capital expenditures and capitalize assets, reconcile CIP account- Track and reconcile miscellaneous adjustments including scrap in daily/monthly basis.- Track scrap sales to scrap vendor and ensure payment is received and recorded- Track PPV / IPV and OMV and report variances to materials team weekly- Provide Weekly Sales report to Staff.- Validate VCP material savingsAbout Regal Rexnord- The Company's end markets benefit from meaningful secular demand tailwinds, and include factory automation, food & beverage, aerospace, medical, data center, warehouse, alternative energy, residential and commercial buildings, general industrial, construction, metals and mining, and agriculture.
