So let's talk today.- **Job Details*****What you will do**We are looking for someone to assist the plant controller with the analysis of costs from all areas and budgets from the operations. Providing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly financial data to the site and allow for decision making and adequate financial reviews.**How you will do it**Assist in month-end closing cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reportingTo prepare and submit to the operations plant efficiency, productivity, hours standards, and overhead generated in the plant(s)Daily Sales report and Daily Open Orders report, to provide the site with close visibility on our status to Sales to the business.Consolidation on Shipping and Receiving discrepancies at month end cut off date and providing accrual requests if needed.Quarterly Excess & Obsolete estimates based on company's policy as well as review with the operations for any specific reserves.Assist as needed in taking of annual physical inventories.Analysis of standard cost roll results and reporting.Analysis, review and audit to BOM and routings working with Manufacturing.Assist in the improvement of existing processes and development of new tools on the reports and activities preformed.Provide data and request stat load to HFM.Provides guidelines for standard cost approaches used in business decisions; establishes and monitors cost reduction programsAssist in preparation/review of CI projects and uses CI Trac to review updates and approve and confirm benefits.Assist in preparation/review of CAR financial justifications for plant capital projects.Track capital project spending, timing and cost impact against project plan, forecasts and budget to understand and report variances.Coordinates periodic Fixed Asset physical inventory per company policies.Performs reconciliation for fixed assets and capital in progress to General Ledger for their location.Manage and administrate stores card and inventory adjustment documents.Assist in preparation/submission of documentation for internal and external audit requests.Assist / support HR / Operations and Supply chain department in ad-hoc projects.**What we look for**- Bachelors Degree or higher education in finance or accounting.- Intermediate to expert level Excel skills - should be very proficient with troubleshooting and creating complex formulas and spreadsheets to meet finance needs
